Steve Forte - a member of Casino Cheaters Hall of Fame

Steve Forte was introduced in Cheaters Hall of Fame that, frankly speaking, can surprise many gamblers. First of all Forte cannot be name in a list of the most successful cheaters and actually he is more famous for being busted a few times. Moreover, in 2007 he became the world's second 'turkey' on 'Silver Turkey Awards' among all gamblers and cheaters.

Being one of the poker cheaters Forte was busted in the same year for the skillful scam in Atlantic City which was highlighted in all popular editions all over the world. Steve and his partners attached small cameras to the hotel suit and hanged it on the wall near the table of opponents in order to see their hole cards at the high stakes game. Apart from this, they lured the rich players telling them about great private tournament with high stakes.

So what is he doing in a Hall of Fame? The thing is that Forte in spite of his busts is the most talented sleight-of-hand performer in the whole gambling world. For a quite long time he worked on numerous casinos as a staff anti-cheating consultant. Thus, being experienced due to practice on the both sides he could be compared with the well-known blackjack cheater Dustin Marks. So there is no big surprise that Forte knew all possible devices used by cheaters as well as those used by casinos in their security system to detect dishonest players and what is more important - many casino employees were learnt by him!

Forte is also a talented author of two half-educational half-fiction books on casino games protection and poker. Due to his valuable knowledge he often took part in TV shows and educational videos. Forte was hired as main consultant for the 'Rounders' - classic poker movie starring Ed Norton and Matt Damon.
